Went to Henderson County for hearings on numerous motions. This judge runs a tight, but fair ship. He allowed both sides equal opportunity and ruled in a manner fair to all. It was, all in all, refreshing to be in front of a judge such as this. [As an aside, the prosecutor was professional in his approach to matters before him. At one point, an accused was late to court... clearly they would have found themselves on the short end of the stick in Denton County.... when the matter was called and an opportunity to provide this person with an express ticket to the local jail, the prosecutor deferred until the end of the proceedings. Extremely nice to see. Would not have happened in Denton County.]
